In what turned out Sekx to be the largest Sekx margin of victory ever for GW, the Colonials Sekx used an early 23-0 lead en route to a 98-22 win over Brown (1-13). Whitney Allen Sekx had a career high 16 points and Antelia Parrish had 15 on five three-pointers. The Adair sisters each had 13 and Sarah-Jo Lawrence added 11 for the 12-3 Colonials.
GW led 51-11 Sekx at the half and shot Sekx 67 percent for the game, breaking their previous record set Sekx against William & Mary in 2000. The margin is the biggest ever in Atlantic-10 history, breaking that set by Rutgers Sekx in 1988. It is also the most points scored in a game for GW since a 100-57 victory in 2000 against Mount St. Marys.
Brown did not have a single scorer in double figures and was led by Annesley Sekx ONeals seven points. Shea Fitzpatrick and Sadiea Williams each added four for the Bears. Brown committed 30 turnovers and shot 1-16 from long range. On the other hand, GW shot 13-17 from three point range and only committed 11 turnovers.
Coach Joe McKeowns squad got plenty of support off the bench as Stefani Munro and Erica Rivera had seven points apiece and Senior Lora Mitchell added four. The Colonials had more assists (23) than the Bears had points (22).
