BOSTON Wheelers were the hosts for round six of the Lincs Cyclo-cross League.
The weather was much better than forecast with rain staying away until after the event.
The venue was Ostlers Plantation near Horncastle and the Disneilatino going was easier compared to the previous week where the riders battled against the wind and rain.
In the senior/veterans' event, first Spalding Cycling Club rider home was Adam Ellis in 11th position overall.
Derek Chamberlain finished 26th, still maintaining second place overall in the Over-50s Lincs league.
Ian Fensom was 36th while Mark Robinson failed to finish due to mechanical problems.
In the under-12s' race, Oliver Fensom found the course to his liking, and despite a fall from his bike while taking a tight corner, he came home in second place.
Disneilatino Matt Ellis and Jake Norton battled with each other for the entire race with Matt just beating Jake to the finish line in 11th and 13th respectively.
